    Update Failed

    Trying to do the latest update and get this error. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and still get the same error:

    Try right clicking on the small Z icon in the task bar tray (far right side) near the date/time and select Exit. Then right click the desktop shortcut and select to run as administrator to restart the client.

        Try uninstalling the desktop app and then download and install a fresh copy of it.

          I already did that, twice. Still having the issue! Please fix this as I pay good money to get this to play my game and now I can't use the guide as it won't load in game and tells me it needs to be updated.

            Have you made sure the desktop app is whitelisted in your antivirus? Are you using a VPN? Do you have all updates installed for Windows? As dumb as it sounds, have you tried rebooting your router and modem? There should be nothing preventing the desktop app from updating the guides and no other customers are having any issues with the desktop app doing updates.

              Yes. No. Yes and just now yes. I uninstalled and reinstalled and ran as admin and it worked for about a week. Just got it up and running today and I'm having the same issue. This is rather frustrating having to spend time trying to get this working properly.

                  Sorry for the late responses, I only play on weekends. Still having this problem. I'm tired of having to reinstall this every week to try to get it to work. I pay monthly and am about to cancel if this doesn't get fixed.

                    UPDATE - Now I can't even get it to re-install lol. I get the same error. So Frustrating. I found my AppData folder and deleted every reference to Zygor (not sure if that was what I'm supposed to do) and am going to try and install yet again.

                        What version of Windows are you using? Which antivirus software? Can you post any pics of what you are seeing and any error messages?

                          Windows 10 and AVG - I can't even install the program now, it gets just over 1/4 way and doesn't move. The previous error was red font at the bottom of the window that said upgateguides failed - I thought I posted a screenshot earlier, sorry.

                            Yeah still can't get it to install, no matter what I do. Turn off AVG, run as administrator, nothing is working.

                              Open the attached zip file and extract the .reg file from within. Then double click on the .reg file to fix the Zygor registry entries and that should allow the installation to finish.
