Zygor sold email address?

I recently signed up for Zygor guides using an email I don’t use for anything else and today I got a scam email to that inbox. I checked online and there has been other people posting about their emails also possibly being sold after signing up for Zygor.

For the amount of money I’m paying ($15aud per month) I would expect that my personal data would remain safe and Zygor Guides wouldn’t need to also sell my data on top of that.

If Zygor hasn’t sold it directly, perhaps an affiliate service (eg the third party mailing list service mentioned in the privacy policy) is selling it, in which case I would hope Zygor looks into who they are choosing to provide our data.

To the best of my knowledge we do not sell any info. I will talk to the team about this.

I checked and was correct. We do not sell email addresses. However when checking on things I see that the email address for the OPs account is a very common format of first name.last name at outlook (not the name in the above image) so could easily have been put together by an address generator with no one knowing if it was an actual live address and added to a database to send out spam.
