Forum cookie set too short a time?

I run very few addons with my Firefox, and those I keep updated.

Then only thing i can think of is either a antivirus or a problem with the site. Maybe need to know the antivirus everybody is running? I got AVG Internet Security 2011.

Haha, I'm cheap and just use Microsoft Security Essentials. You can avoid 99% of the bugs out there if you're just a tiny bit smart about your web browsing.

For me it may be older OSs or older browsers... at work we are on XP SP3 and IE7 - at home I'm on XP SP3 and IE7, Chrome and Firefox but being I haven't updated either of them for awhile, I can just about guarantee I don't have the latest version installed... lol

I just noticed that on my desktop that this happens. But not on my laptop. It's weird. Everthing is the same between my desktop and laptop. Same web browser same addons. Newest version of it all. I wonder what it could be?

I updated my version of Chrome to the latest and ensured that Norton 360 isn't blocking 'tracking cookies'... no change. If I leave the window dormant for 30 minutes or more, I have to log back in.

I just changed the Session Timeout to 60 minutes from 15. Hopefully you won't have this issue anymore.

No problem here, and i am using Google Chrome Beta. So, you might want to check with your internet settings

Yeah not as bad now. It loses it about that time now if I'm not doing anything on the site in that time frame. Works better on my iPhone too now.
