Zygor minimap button no longer displays when using ElvUI

Prior to DF pre-patch / 10.0.1, ElvUI and the Zygor minimap button got along just fine. Now I can no longer get the minimap button to display, even after resetting Zygor windows, reinstalling it, starting fresh (removing WTF) etc.

I can't find any obvious ElvUI settings or changes that should have brought this about it, but maybe I'm missing something?

I worked around this by disabling ElvUI, dragging the Zygor button away from where the minimap would be when ElvUI is running and was then able to see and use the button again. I assume the issue is that button is behind the minimap

Thanks, your workaround worked for me too. I also tried looking for it behind the minimap by moving the minimap and/or shrinking it, but I was never able to find it while ElvUI was loaded prior to the workaround step.

I worked around this by disabling the minimap in Elvui for now.

Oops the first workaround only works until the next reload, so not that much of a workaround. I hope this gets fixed. I'll probably just make a macro for /zygor show in the meantime.

I had a chat with our devs and we have not changed the minimap button code. It's not actually attached to the minimap and is a free floating button. It's position should be saved by the game. Try disabling ElvUI, move the button, reload or exit the game a few times to see if the button moves at all from where you moved it to. If it doesn't move then try enabling ElvUI again and reload a few times to see if the button gets put behind the minimap again. If it does then that's definitely an ElvUI issue that they'll have to fix.

Getting addons to fix addons isnt always everyones ideal fix but MinimapButtonBag Reborn fixes this issue for me, and the frame is movable via elv uis toggle anchor system.

Just update ElvUI. The latest version fixes it.
