Copy settings to an alt

I would like to copy the settings from 1 character to another. How can i do this? Until now for every new alt i create i have to go thru the options and widgets and re-configure them.

BTW: in the profiles menu --> current profile it create 2 profiles: [Character name] and [Character name] - [Realm]. These are the same profile duplicate?

Right now we don't have a way to copy one profile to another. The only thing we have close to that is to click the check box to use 1 profile for all characters.
