Changing spec
Found the problem, A new feature in Extra Features; Disabled equip automatically and now I can do what I want. Question: Why do the Guides Viewer have the option of equiping, I wasted over an hour looking this up and could have been playing the expansio instead.
While changing from Holy Palidan to Ret, I could not equip one of my Ret trinkets without disabling the viewer.

Just completed a update, will test and correct this.
Game Ver 4.0. 5062 : This is still happening, can not equip Moonwell Phial over Reflection of the Light. When I try, trinkets go back to Reflection of the Light equiped and chat window says, "Zygor Guides equiping Reflection of the Light over Moonwell Phial.
Same thing is happening with a Ring socket
All good now
