Waypoint arrow not hiding as it should [RESOLVED]

In the options there's a checkbox under Waypoint Arrow in the Additional arrow functions area for Hide Waypoint Arrow ..., the box is checked but the arrow does not hide when I close the guide viewer.

*edit* This is with the new 5.0 Guide Viewer.

Try logging out and back into the game (not only a relaod ui). This fixed it (and other waypoint arrow issues like no metric system) for me.
It seems on the first login there may be problems with the settings when upgrading the guide viewer.
