Error

Received the following with the latest version in Onyxia's Lair after killing one of the mobs.

1x [ADDON_ACTION_BLOCKED] AddOn 'ZygorGuidesViewer' tried to call the protected function 'setInsetFn()'.

Try doing a full guide wipe/reset to see if that affects this.


1. exit WoW
2. go to the WoW/Interface/Addons folder and delete the ZygorGuidesViewer folder
3. go to the WoW/WTF/Account/<accountname>/SavedVariables folder and delete the Zygor files in there
4. run the desktop client and install a fresh copy of the guides
5. go back in game to test and let me know if that fixed it

I've gotten the same error 34 times and it's at various times and on different toons. I think i have been getting this error and had to wipe/reset and it worked for a while and but I think it came back. My error looks a bit different than his but it's about the same.

Is Zygor your only addon? If no, try disabling all other addons and see if you can get this error to pop up when only Zygor is running.

no i have other addons. i will try it out and let you know.

That is a Blizzard bug, and has been around for many months at this point. It is not caused by an addon. I'd go into the technical reasons why, but that seems ... overboard, maybe?
