    Problem running Zygor, period after deleting cache, interface, data folders in WOW

    I apologize ahead of time if this was posted in the wrong section of the forums, but needing help with this.

    My original problem was I was getting frequent disconnections from WOW, so I called their tech support group and like the idiot I am, I obeyed their suggestions in deleting the cache, interface, data folders in WOW and starting all over with no addons, etc. So naturally when I try to run Zygor now, it simply just loops over and over updating to 333.102 from 333.101 and it will not stop. Just keeps updating in this loop.

    Ive tried deleting the updater, redownloading, rerunning it, and same thing. It doesnt even take me to the updaters login screen no more because I guess it still has me logged under my account.

    Further more I have other issues now re-running curse client, but thats a different ballgame I gotta fix on their end, so any help would be great.

    Currently there is a small error on our end that should be fixed soon. It’s just a simple wrong number placed into the ver.lua file which is confusing the Updater. My best suggestion is once it’s done the first loop just shut down the Updater as you will then have the latest version of the guides. Then just use the normal WoW shortcut to run the game and in another day or two run the Updater again and it should fix itself at that point.

      Ok, sounds good, but as far as me deleting the Interface, data, and cache folders out, I don't have to do any reinstallations or further updates, or does Zygor updater figure out where WOW folder is and reupdates everything all over again (or should)?

        It should put it all into the proper locations. If for any reason you don't have it working in game or some other issue comes up just post here or send in a support ticket and we'll get you working again.

          The settings of the Zygor updater are stored in the registry so even if you delete the exe simply redownloading the updater should get everything working again.
          Except that the updater shows 3101 as your current version number and 3102 available even when updating due to the bug Cabby described.
