Portal to Shadowmoon Valley

I remember this portal in Stormwind. However, it is now gone, at least for me. Some comments on Wowhead seem to indicate that when your Garrison keep gets upgraded to level 2, that is when the portal disappears.

My keep is level 3, and I honestly wasn't in Stormwind when it was level 2.

In any case, for whatever reason, this portal is no longer a valid method to reach Draenor.

Just following up. I still don't see the portal these days. I did once, and used it, but as I said, it has gone poof. Have you guys found anything?

Do you remember where in SW you saw the portal? I'll double check for it with a toon that still has a lvl 1 garrison once the servers are online again.

It was on the little islet with all the Cataclysm portals, just off centre. It was smaller, and I seem to recall it was a miniature version of the Black Portal.

I finally got into the game and did a fast test with a toon that has a level 1 garrison. I could not find any portal there in SW and the only thing I can think of is that it might be there only until you build the garrison. I'm just going to recommend that it be removed from the Travel System completely as it seem to be something only a few rare people would be able to use.

Did a little more testing today to see if maybe that toon being 91 had something to do with it. Took a new 90 into Shadowmoon and then went back to SW before building the garrison. No portal. Went back to Shadowmoon thru the red portal in BL and did the few quests to get the garrison built, then went back to SW and still no portal. Looks like it's been completely removed.

Bummer. That would mean the similar portal in Ogrimmar will have been removed as well, although since I don't play Horde, I have no idea where it would be.
