Next waypoint not working

I have always found the next waypoint feature very good.

That is where you are hunting mobs and the guide says there are other mobs of same type at xx/xx

This has stopped working for some reason

I am a level 79 paladin ret spec

I have started another toon and the next waypoint feature is still not working.
Can I have a reply to this problem please.

It has been said somewhere else that this problem is known and worked on.
