Launcher download problems???

I downloaded the .rar file and when I extract it all I get is 3 folders and no launcher.

com
META-INF
org

I went ahead and just did a manual install, but would like to get the launcher up and going for easier updating.

You do not extract a .jar file which is what you downloaded. Please make sure you have Java installed, then right click the .jar you downloaded, select 'Open with', then select the Java SE Platform.
