Cannot determine the current stage

Started from 0 with this character and have been getting these. Tried reinstall, repair, etc.

ZYGOR: Cannot determine the current state of quest Breaking the Barrier, the addon is likely to fail guiding you throw it.

I have used Zygor guides for years and love them. Any ideas?

Now I am having to manually advance it though Breaking the Barrier.

This message normally appears if you have a quest in your log that was taken without the guide telling you to pick it up. Try looking in your log for any quests you might have picked up fast on your own that the guide didn't tell you to get and finish them or abandon them.

Nope, I follow the guide religiously. For some reason I am also a level and a half behind the guide right now. Didn't skip anything. I know they are new so I expect issues.

How about a sanity check. When you're in game and you open the Addons listing (Escape key and on the left) what version number does it show for Zygor?

Guide is at v1.0.9226 as far as sanity goes I am far gone

Well the version is right. Not sure why it's giving a problem with that quest. For being down on level, try killing some extra mobs as you're running around to help fill in that deficit.

Started a new character from scratch to see if I can replicate for you. Will let you know.

Also in the WoW guides I seem to remember it saying something like "You should be level 7 now." to help keep us on track.

On the new character I just got the message about Daughter of Giants.

ZYGOR: Cannot determine the current state of quest Daughter of Giants, the addon is likely to fail guiding you throw it.

The only quests I have are Lifting the Veil, One of the Undaunted, Anchors from the Harbour and Daughter of Giants. I am on step 321 of the Auridon (7-15) guide and hit level 10 a few steps back.

Step 368 it started saying the same about Wearing the Veil. I have not had to manually advance it yet.

Found an issue with the guide with Merric and Aelif. This has happened to me every time I have leveled a toon. This might be causing the later issues, not sure. But the guide jumps past the Merric and Aelif stuff completely after leaving the Harbourage. I had to go back each time to complete it. Seems to jump from 55 to 61. Just tested it on another character that has that quest and sure enough jumped over that whole section.

I have had issues similar to this, Bouvi. I'm pretty sure it was Merric and Aelif. I'm just glad it makes noise when it skips forward. I always go back and see what it was skipping.
