Addon says I need to update

Hello,

Addon says I need to update, even though I am on the last update and I have an active subscription.
If I log out and back in, no guides are showing.

Please try the following and see if it resolves the issue:

1. Exit out of the game completely.
2. Open the Zygor Guides Client. Click on "WoW Guide Content" to select it, then click the Repair button.
3. When it finishes repairing, go back in the game and see if the issue is resolved.

Nope didn't help, still says that the subscription is expired and I need to update the addon.

I made a mistake and didn't take notice this was in the Classic section. Do those steps above but for step 2 you want to select WoW Classic Guide Content.

I did do it for classic

When you have the desktop client open what username do you see on the left side?

When you open the guide viewer settings window or the guide selection window in game what number do you see in the bottom left corner?

the number is: 1.0.23966

[dhanir]

I figured it out, it seems like it was installing to retail even though I was clicking Classic.
I disabled Retail completely and reinstalled the addon, and now it works.
