Icecrown pre-quest guide errors & input

OK, I was in such a hurry I did not write down the steps but can get close with explanations and all are between step 75 and 250

• The quest after you escort the alliance troops up the hills, with the crazy repop rate bad guys, and require 4 troops to live. You have to go get in the plane to shoot things from the turret style gun in the plane ... the marker for the alliance is the horde plane ... wrong plane. Even after I wiped out the horde sitting in the plane I could not get into the mount
• The hidden alliance airport step ... put a comment about how you have to *stand* (not fly) RIGHT in the middle of the little pad. I was flying all around the marker dot and was about to give up when I decided to walk around that pad instead of flying over it ... *poof* I could see all the people. This is where you get the bomber and have to swap between shields, shooting and bombing

Another idea / comment is related to the sheer length of the initial guide. I understand that there are a ton of pre-required quests but ohh my goodness ... two days and I am still only on step 235 with another 100+ to go

If there is any way to streamline or give us the feeling we are making progress that would be awesome. My guess is that all the quests are required and you are not sending us on a wild goose chase so maybe a "part #1" and "part #2" ... who knows. I am about four hours total (across two days) into the pre-reqs and still can't run the gold guide.

So last night I continued these while doing my defensive driving on-line class. In the DD class there is required breaks every section. Maybe put sompthing like "Congralations, you completed section 3, only 4 more to go!"

BTW, I must have made 800 gold last night between steps 75 and 235 ... not really a gold run but nice income none the less.

Zygor left a lot of quests (especially in Ice crown) out of the initial leveling guides because the guides were streamlined enough to skip Ice Crown entirely, hence the length required in the pre-Ice Crown dailies.

It's well worth it though, the gold reward (as you've noticed) is great. But it shouldn't take you 2 days

I'm finding it slow going as well, but all the non-IC pre-quests provided me with about 1200g, which allowed me to get artisan flying (with the 2800 I had already). Weeee!!

Started IC pre-Q's now, looking forward getting them out of the way now.

I must be doing something wrong, I spent another 45min to an hour tonight and STILL working the ICC pre-quests. I can slam through and 1-shot kill things (once my mage warms up and things are lumped close) so I am not having problems completing the quests ... there are just a TON of them.

There are just a lot of quests, but I don't see the problem. You're making a lot of gold doing them all, so I don't understand why it's a bad thing to be doing quests?

If Antacus is like me, he's just itching to get into the gold runs Loving doing all these quests I missed in the race to 80, and the gold ain't bad either

I did not mean for that to come across as a "problem" but more of a bummer for my toon. I am making a lot of gold as I go and it just seems like I am way behind. Right now I have limited play time due to real life events and want to move on to the gold runs but I am stumbling through the pre-quest section for one area. I may have picked the biggest one to do first but what rolls around my head is "wow, if the ICC pre-quest series is this long it is going to take me 6 months to complete the pre-quests for all of the sections. How am I ever going to do the other things like the drake guide or the exalted quests?!?!"

Now, last night I did see an issue, which may be me out of sync somehow ...

• Guide said to accept "To the Rise with all Due Haste!" from Baron Silver but he was not offering it, only offered Leave Our Mark. Reading wowhead it said I need to do Ebon Blade Prisoners first. I do remember seeing that flash by via the SiS system previously but it never asked me to do it.

When I was leveling my paladin, I used EveryQuest and added a couple more quests in each Northrend zone to complete the quest achievements for Loremaster. There are 140 quests required in Icecrown. The base Zygor guide doesn't have any of them. To unlock all the Icecrown dailies, because of they way they're chained, I wouldn't be surprised if you end up having to do 100+ quests. Granted some of them are nothing more than "Take this letter to Bob" but there are others that have you traveling across the continent. While doing those 140 quests, it was the only thing I was running on any of my toons and I spent several days at it. I haven't looked at that section of the daily guide but keep at it.

Step 325ish ...

When you wear the hat to go undercover the guide did not auto advance. My toon did not change appearance either. Maybe because I have hide helm enabled for Toxis.

And ... That marks the end oftge ICC pre-quests. It took me 4 days and I made around 1400 gold in the process
