Gear will not remained remove

My Paladin is level 85 I try to replace Head Gear to fish and I put the head gear in my bag and it returns to head slot, Have tried right clicking the fishing hat it will go to the head slot but they change right back, is this a Z problem or a WOW problem, Help me Please

Go into the guide options and into the Extra features section. Disable the auto-equip feature and the guides should stop trying to equip your leveling gear.

You can also change the setting to tell it to ask before it equips. That way you can simply decline it.
