Do you wait for that auto-scan to finish? Are you running any other addons?

Yes I wait for the auto-scan to finish and don't touch anything until it it says "LAST UPDATED: less than a min ago."

No other add-ons are active. The only add-on is the Zygor guide. Here is a screenshot of the tool of what I am seeing. http://i.imgur.com/9lwcTJM.jpg

Edit: I waited the 15 minutes for the scan button to become available and that is scanning the entire auction house. The auto-scan that starts when you first go to the Sell tab only scans very little and thus gives almost no results. After waiting the 15 mins and clicking the Scan button, loads of items appear on the Auctions tab of the gold guide. The auto-scan and the manual scan button are not doing the same thing. Is there a way to bypass the 15 minute wait? That is what is holding me up right now.

Go into the guide viewer settings and in the Inventory Management section disable the option to automatically scan the AH when the window is open. That will make it so you always have to click that Scan button to get it to scan the AH listings.
