to get the borean tundra achievement. the item is tlmost never on sale in ah (not when you need it anyway), otherwise you need engineering as a fairly high level. if you don't need to complete all quests, you can just skip it and miss 1 or 2 quests along the line. plenty to get around for the achievement.
