Step 84, Mount Hyjal (80-82) Alliance "Go inside the blue portal"

Each time I enter it, it tells me to enter it again. I'm getting dizzy.

Never mind the original post. I had tried for 20 minutes before posting the original topic. After posting it, I went back to the game, killed a few more guys, got one lua error and dismissed it, then entered the portal again 2 more times. For some reason, it worked this time.

So, forget the original post, unless you just want to try it yourself.

You mean the step never advanced or going into the portal did nothing?

I guess it was the step? I went throught the portal as suggested. Got to the other side of the portal and the step suggested going through the portal again. This happened many, many times until I gave up. The guide never recognized that I had done what it suggested, therefore the next step in the guide never appeared and neither did the travel arrow. It simply kept saying to step onto the blue portal repeatedly. After doing that for too long of a period of time, I did what I posted in the previous step.

Ok, so the guides didn't recognize that you were on the new map/zone. Next time that happens just move to the next step manually and let us know. It could be something with the guides or it could be some other addon preventing the guides from seeing the location change. Or it could even be something screwy with Blizzard not sending the info or lag. All sorts of things to test.
