I'm totally lost!!

I came back in with a level 32 toon, and the entire guide, as far as I can see, is totally unrelated to where I am. I have scrolled back to level 28 quests and forward to level 35, and every entry in the guide is transparent and no NPC's have quests to offer me.
What's up with this?

Thanks! I went to Desolace last night and found quests I can do for the XP. Don't know if these will allow the guide and character to sync up yet, but at least I'm progressing!
