I download the new guide but it's all blank not sure what to do

On your hard drive, go to the WoW/WTF/Account/accountname/SavedVariables directory and delete the ZygorGuidesViewer.lua file. You must do this when exited out of the game.

Question. Do you have the newest version of the guide? The cataclysm zones have been separated in one of the newest updates. Try going through the menu and selecting Hyjal or Vash'jir.

I just downloaded the guide today so I have the newest and I did try to pick and area but nothing will show up just a blank black box

This latest update was only released a few minutes ago. There are multiple updates per day at the moment.

i feel with you staticenz..but a new relase was made just about 6 minutes ago...i am sure it will not have fixed your problem but you need to update otherwise you will just be told that the older versions have problems...

no matter what your problem is right now the answer will always be update, repair, delete and re-install...

Delete the Zygor folders inside the WoW addons directory and reinstall the guide.
Andy, most of the guide viewer lua errors go away when deleting the old guide and the Zygor saved variables before installing the new guide. And the patchnotes say something about fixed lua errors because of old file references.

but anyhows i thought now that you finally have your own copy of cataclysm you would be leveling a worgen to check for yourself...
