Eastern Kingdom (25-30) step 82

I'm lvl 30 warlock

Guide says to talk to Lashtail Hatchling but I'm not able to so I can't accept the "Favored Skull" (#26745) which causing problems now that I'm in (30-35) step 1 to accept the "A physical specimen"

I did the preceding quests of "I think she's hungry" #26739

Has this quest chain been eliminate/changed?

From wowhead: You have to compete Spared from Madness http://www.wowhead.com/quest=26736 before your raptor will give you the quest. And you have to logout before Osborn Obnoticus will appear (he's one of the 3 guys you rescue in Spared from Madness).

Yup, tried that and it didn't work. It was the Deep Roots quest, the guide had me skip it. Went back to complete it and the hatching picked up the skull right next to the tablet for Deep Roots.
