Hinterlands to Stranglethorn Vale?

Questing with my rogue in Hinterlands it started telling me that I'm now ready for Stranglethorn Vale, even though I was nowhere near the end of the Hinterlands guide. So I carried on with the Hinterlands guide, still getting yellow quests and some nice rewards, then finally got a breadcrumb quest for Western Plaguelands.

However, it was the SV guide that loaded next and the WP guide is red for me at the moment. Anyway, I ignored that and loaded the WP guide anyway and I'm doing just fine. The mobs are my level and not difficult.

Perhaps the lower limit for the WP guide could be dropped a bit to allow the progression that Blizzard obviously intended, i.e. Hinterlands to WP.

Hinterlands may be off the optimal old Zygor leveling path, that's what causes this lots of travelling. Don't know what happens if you go to Plaguelands earlier, maybe you run into quests you can't accpet later.

Yes, you could be correct about quest level requirements. I'm wearing the leather heirloom chest and shoulders so I caught up with the guide quickly, but it might be different for somebody without.

Our Guides are set so anyone that does not feel like grinding and does not own heirlooms can quest through the guide very easily. If you are progressing faster than the guide you can skip to the suggested guide but you do not have to. This is to keep people moving forward if they want to level a little faster.
