Where it says to follow the wide paths to get through the mine field there is actually a consistent path that seems to always be there no matter how many mines i blow up that starts at 34.86 coords. Just thought that might help.

Yes, I also noticed this. Have to check if that's at the coordinates you mention, it was at the northern border of the minefield and was spiraling a bit counter clockwise until you reach the target.

Yes, it's the same path.
Here are some coordinates (don't know if the guide can handle such a narrow path):
Start is 34.6,86.3 (at the metal plate on the ground)

Thanks for the info, its the first time we heard of this being an issue. The coordinates may be a help to people who are having a hard time with this quest.

I think they reduced the fall damage after hitting a mine, at least I didn't die when trying to get the achievement with my mage...
