    Skipping Quests?

    Is anybody else having this issue? The guide is telling me to accept quests that are part of chains that the guide didnt ask me to do because of the auto advancement thing. I have been running around in darkshore etc trying to accept quests and the majorioty of them i cant accept. This is unacceptable. Why release a feature that is still half baked. They really dropped the ball on this...


    Oh and did i mention i only had skip auxillary steps checked...

    There has been a lot of talk on the forums where the new SIS system needs a little bit of refinement because of skipped quests. If you list where you are in the guide (Alliance 60-65 step 42 for example) and what happened the Zygor team will have better feedback to speed up the fixes

      well the most recent was alli 20-25 it told me to accept An Agressive Defence but i was never told to accept or do any of the earlier quests. This could be in part because i am 2 lvls a head and the guide is trying to catch me up...but if its a chain then it should have had me do the earlier quests. There is also an escort that i couldnt accept...

        20-25 step 109 unable to accept the ruiens of stardust...or obviously the rest of that chain...

          To help reduce these problems you're seeing go into the guide options and in the Dynamic Progression section adjust the slider to a setting between 3-5. Even if you turn off skipping of different things the SIS still looks at this slider to know when to start skipping.

            I ran into the issue of skipped quest starter -- twice.

            Alliance Guide (45 - 50). Guide skipped through to step 44 (talk to Pratt McGrubben -- turn in The Mark of Quality and accept Improved Quality). I hadn't done the first one yet so had to manually roll back to step 10 to pick up the quest, then move to 30 & 31 to do it).

            Alliance Guide (45 - 50). Guide skipped through to step 120 (talk to Kindal Moonweaver -- accept An Orphan Looking For a Home). I had not done any of the prior quests in that area so had to do the first four ( (1) save sprite hatchlings, (2) kill bunch of mobs, (3) go to Darnassus, (4) come back to camp area). I didn't bother looking in the guide for the starter quests for this line since I've already done them with another toon.

                Actually i decided to turn everything in the dynamic guide on. set the slider bar to 1. grinded out a lvl and after gaining a few lvls using the guide it has straightened out thus far...

                  i had those problems aswell around lvl 62-64 (alliance) it told me to go kill a guy but i was never told to accept the quest...
