everytime i go to an inn that the guide told me to make my home it auto opens the inns shop and i cannot make it my home. also i just started a new toon and im not sure what is going on northen barrens but none of the quests there you can do cause of all the pvp

When you are in game and you open the guide selection window (small drop down arrow on guide viewer) what does it show in the lower left corner for your guide version? Also, are you on a US or EU server, and is it PvE or PvP?My Flight Path Follies guide

Do you have the option to accept all quests from an NPC turned on in the extra features section of the guide options?
If so try turning it off, I think there has been an issue like that in the past.Comment
