Enchanting training requirement

Alliance Enchanting 1-600 Leveling Guide

My enchanter is level 80, Enchanting skill 450.

The guide says:

"Note: your current level is 80. You won't be able to learn Enchanting past 525 until you're level 85."


Lucan Cordell: Zen Master Enchanter requires: Level 80, Enchanting 500

Minor problem, which if not corrected, will lead to the cataclysmic destruction of Azeroth as we now know it.

Added to our list to get looked over as this could potentially affect more than just Enchanting.

You know, my level 84 Alliance Paladin gets that same message, and I never thought to look further into it. Instead, I just stopped leveling up Enchanting, except for two sets of Darkmoon Faire quests (+5 skill x 2) which gives me a current skill of 510.

Speaking of which, any time the Darkmoon Faire is available, I might suggest the guide default to having the player do the quests, as the +5 skill up per trade skill is so fast and easy that it is honestly better than the traditional method. Of course, you can only do this once per Faire per visit, but it is better.
