Herbalism Guide - Backtracking for farming a specific herb?

Hi, I'm brand new to the community and I was wondering if I could get some simple help.

I'm currently leveling my Herbalism with Alchemy, and I'd like to farm some of the materials I need for Alchemy using the Herbalism guide's zone circling UI on the minimap.

Whenever I backstep to previous steps, they're missing because my herbalism is a much higher level than the herb i'm trying to farm. The earliest steps state things like "skipping to herbalism 200-525" , though I believe the herb i'm looking for (Goldthorn) is in a earlier stage.

Is there a setting somewhere where I can change this around so I can use the herbalism guide to farm me some goldthorn?

Hold the Ctrl+Alt (or was it Ctrl+Shift) while clicking on the forward and backward buttons to step thru the guide to get to the farming route you'd like. I think the team are working on making something like this easier.

Did Zygor ever make an easier way of doing this? It would be most useful to be able to easily select a particular herb that you need to farm.
