Leveling Mining with mining.

My skill was approximately 274 (+10) with the pick. The guide thought I was high enough level to farm in Nagrand, however the ant lines there are messed up. Not only that, but I don't have enough skill to farm some of the nodes there. Perhaps a zone change to get to 325 would be advisable.

The guide should have taken you to Hellfire to level up to 325 before sending you to Nagrand. Not sure why it didn't do that since it would only skip Hellfire if you already had a 325 skill. Try holding the Ctrl + Alt keys and step back a couple steps to the Hellfire farming route.
