Allowing yourself to be killed uses more time

Since the Pre-patch for Wrath is using a universal 50% XP boost, I am leveling ahead of the steps in your guide - especially in starting areas. This means when guide tells me to allow myself to be killed it takes forever for mob to kill me. It is much quicker to just run to next point but guide takes me to the Death Angel instead leaving me to find my own way. These "Kill Yourself" steps take way too long and are used way too often in starting areas.
