You mention to try to pull him individually. This is impossible the minimum adds are 2, so there is always 3 total. Fangore is Immune to certain spells also (at least Warlock can't debuff him). Level 29 Lock-tried many times, could not kill myself. Pet could but mo credit if it wasn't me. Group Quest or skip.
