UI and all saved settings are reset on each update

The last couple of month I have played, almost each time there is a new update everything is reset.

• Guides I had loaded is not loaded anymore
• Guide window position, scale and size
• All profiles have been reset

Basically a hard reset to when you installed it from the first time.

Why cant you make it so it still uses all the old settings?
I mean I know that if changes to f.ex the talent build, have changed, then yes reset that section of the settings but nothing else needs to be touched so you at least still can keep your guide window location, scale and size together with all automation settings and such.

It's really demotivating using Zygor if you have to setup everything anew on almost each update

That sounds like a corrupted settings file. The only way to really fix that is to do a full guide reset.

1. exit WoW
2. go to the WoW/_classic_/Interface/Addons folder and delete any Zygor folders
3. go to the WoW/_classic_/WTF/Account/<your account name here>/SavedVariables folder and delete the Zygor files in there
4. run the desktop client and install a fresh copy of the wrath guides
5. go back in game to test and see if that fixed it

Right I have reset it totally now.
Going to see how it fairs against the next couple of updates and then report back
