Guide updates for Retail/Classic/TBC are rolling out now for the 2021 version of the Winter Veil Event. It also makes the event available in the trial version of the guides as well, so this update is available as a free update to all users.
Improvement: Creature Detector now notifies you if already own a creature you detect (Feedback Submission #877).
Improvement: TBC guides have now been updated with Leveling guides to get to 60 in Azeroth (although you can start Outland at 58, we recommend starting at 60 to reduce grinding needed) as well as all missing Group, Dungeon and Class quests (which you can use as an alternative to grinding).

WoW Classic Season of Mastery launches today and here is what you need to know about it as far as Zygor Guides. Season of Mastery is accessed through the regular WoW Classic launcher so there is no separate install required. The same guides you use on regular WoW: Classic can be used in SoM.
The main change that we expect could expect guide use is the new buff which increases XP earned by 40%. However, because WoW Classic is already a grindy game to begin with, we believe this will actually naturally address a lot of these issues, improving the overall guide experience by requiring less grinding. However, there is the possibility of leveling faster than the guide expects and doing green quests. We don’t expect it to get so bad as to run into gray quests.
If you find yourself out pacing the guides you can always use the Smart Injection System to find a better, more fitting place in the guides. To do this, click the “…” button on the main viewer, then Smart Injection System, and select the first option to find a new starting point.
We will be looking over the guides and how they work in SoM to make any additional updates if they are required.
We want to start making it clearer what guides, features, and improvements we make to Zygor Elite each month of service. As part of this effort we’re introducing a new monthly blog post called Zygor Spotlight, which will highlight the major updates we’ve made to the guides throughout the month and give you an idea of some of the things we have coming down the pipeline in the weeks and months to come.
Guide Updates: Improvements and fixes for WoW Classic: Season of Mastery
In Development:
Guide Updates: WoW Classic Season of Mastery will be launching November 16th. This will include an increase in XP throughout 1-60 leveling that resembles TBC. We hope this will actually naturally cut down on a lot of grinding that is inherent in Classic. However, it may result in out leveling the guides to where you’re doing gray quests. Initially you’ll be able to use the SIS feature to jump ahead to a more optimal place in the guides should this happen. We will be monitoring the situation and making any necessary changes to the guides themselves afterwards.
New Guides: Additional Leveling, Dungeon, Class and Group Quest guides are being worked on for TBC Classic. (This is to address concerns about excess grinding in the 60-70 portion of the guides. It’ll now be recommended that you reach 60 in Azeroth first, although you will still technically be able to leave at 58. If you run into excessive grinds you’ll have the option of doing extra Dungeon, Group, and Class quests.)
