We’re in the process of updating the code base across all versions of our guides to match the Retail version of the Guide Viewer (Version 8.0). For Retail and TBC this won’t likely cause any noticeable changes other than fixes being made across versions more consistently, but for the Classic version, which hadn’t been updated yet to the latest 8.0 feature set, it will be a substantial upgrade. As a result, we’re trickling this release out slowly to make sure there are no major issues.

Here is a summary of the update:

• Unified code base with Retail version.
• Classic Viewer updated with version 8.0 features and improvements.

If you notice any problems after the Classic guide gets updated to the 8.0 style Viewer please contact us via support, chat, or on the forums.

A new release is now available which updates the Chains of Domination questline for the final week of the campaign.

A new update is now available for our Burning Crusade guides which adds in custom dungeon maps for our Dungeon Boss and Quest guides for all the new TBC dungeons. This concludes the last major content that was missing from our TBC release.

A new update is now available for Zygor’s TBC Guides (Version 2.0.25269) that adds in the following content:

• Farming and Gathering Gold Guides for TBC items
• Updated Midsummer Fire Festival Event Guides

We have received reports that some users who signed up with email addresses only used for Zygor services have since had emails sent to those addresses from companies other than Zygor.

First, we want to make it clear that Zygor has never sold anyone’s information. We would never do this.

Based on the information received, we believe there was a data breach that occurred while we were upgrading our vBulletin forum. We are comfortable that this vulnerability has been secured. However, unfortunately, this was not before potential data was leaked.

As for the data that was exposed, it would have been limited to email addresses, first and last names, usernames, and encrypted hashed + salted passwords (not plain text), as we do not store any information beyond this on our server. To be clear, no payment information, home address, or other data of a personal nature was compromised.

We want to express our sincerest apologies, and we have taken measures to correct this issue.

We recommend changing your password for Zygor and anywhere else you use the same password.
