We have received reports that some users who signed up with email addresses only used for Zygor services have since had emails sent to those addresses from companies other than Zygor.

First, we want to make it clear that Zygor has never sold anyone’s information. We would never do this.

Based on the information received, we believe there was a data breach that occurred while we were upgrading our vBulletin forum. We are comfortable that this vulnerability has been secured. However, unfortunately, this was not before potential data was leaked.

As for the data that was exposed, it would have been limited to email addresses, first and last names, usernames, and encrypted hashed + salted passwords (not plain text), as we do not store any information beyond this on our server. To be clear, no payment information, home address, or other data of a personal nature was compromised.

We want to express our sincerest apologies, and we have taken measures to correct this issue.

We recommend changing your password for Zygor and anywhere else you use the same password.

Today we’re excited to announce the release of an all-new Zygor Guides client to install and manage your guide downloads.

• The new update includes an updated user interface similar to our recent “Starlight” design used in Zygor Guide Viewer 8.
• The Client now displays the length of time remaining in the subscription.
• Installations now include status indicators and auto-save when changes are made. Bug Reports now send extended step info.

UPDATE: The beta phase has been completed and the new client will be rolling out to users over the next week or so.

A new guide update for Retail (Version 8.0.25127) is now available for download that adds in additional Patch 9.1 content unlocking this week. The update includes the following new content:

• Tazavesh, the Veiled Market Attunement Guide
• Tazavesh, the Veiled Market Dungeon Guide
• Sanctum of Domination Raid Guide
• Chains of Domination Questline – Chapter 4, “The Last Sigil” becomes available to play through.
• New Patch 9.1 pets and mounts guides have been added in a beta (work in progress) state.

A new update is available for the 2021 version of the Midsummer Fire Festival for Retail. The guides already exist on Classic with no changes needed. It does not appear that the event is active on TBC at the moment but we will update when that changes.

To get the update all you need is a Zygor Elite subscription which you can sign up for here if you do not have one yet.
