Two months ago, when Zygor’s Shadowlands Guides launched, we also released Version 8 of the Zygor Guide Viewer with many new features and improvements. However, there were some features we had planned for Guide Viewer 8 that weren’t quite ready at release. This included an improved initial startup state and the ability to drag tabs. We’re excited to announce a new update which adds in these remaining new features.

Initial Startup State:

Previously when loading the Viewer there were times where it could display a blank state, either when loading, or when it was unable to find a guide.

Now when you load the Viewer it should display a “Loading…” message whenever it’s loading and if it’s unable to find a guide you will be greeted with a welcome message explaining how to load the guide.

Draggable Tabs:

You can now click on tabs and drag them to move them or reorder them however you like.

Other Updates:

There are numerous other additions, fixes and improvements included in this update (Version 8.0.24178), including basic guides for unlocking the Covenant sanctum games like Ember Court, Queen’s Conservatory, Abomination Factory, and Path of Ascension.

When Zygor’s Shadowlands Guides launched back in November we had a substantial amount of content available on Day One, especially for leveling, dungeons, and dailies. Since that time, we’ve made many refinements to these guides and have added even more content, expanding to cover gold and professions, pets and mounts, and achievements.

Below you will find an overview of all the content that was added on launch, post-launch, and what’s to come. You can find all this content easily from the new Featured section of the guide menu.

As our post launch Shadowlands updates continue we are pleased to inform everyone that our Gold Guide has now been updated to support new Farming, Gathering, Crafting and Auction items added in the new expansion. If you meet the proper criteria you should now be seeing these things suggested to you in those sections respectively. To get this update, all you need is a Zygor Elite subscription and to update your guides.

The Zygor Guide Manual has also been updated to reflect the changes made in Zygor Guide Viewer 8 for anyone who wants a more thorough rundown and explanation of the new additions.

A new guide update is now available for Zygor’s Classic Guides that adds in an attunement guide for the Naxxramas raid. This update is available to all Zygor Elite customers. We’ve also pushed a new update to our retail guides as well. You can see what was changed on our changelog page.

The new Shadowlands raid, Castle Nathria, will become available to access after today’s maintenance and we’ve just sent out a new update that polishes the our guide for the Raid. You can easily find it from the Featured section of the Guide menu. To access the update, all you need is a Zygor Elite subscription which you can sign up for here.
