As part of our initiative to double down on quality, all of our guides now go through a rigorous quality assurance process before getting released to customers. Since the launch of Legion we’ve been using this process to draft, polish, and test each guide to make sure it achieves the highest quality standards before releasing them, but this can come at the cost of speed. Many of you have been writing in to us wanting access to these guides sooner. As a result, we’d like to hear your thoughts on whether we should make these “works in progress” guides available to users. A new release has just been pushed (Version 6.0.14846) for the Gold and Professions guide that updates the profession of Inscription for Legion. The following is included in this update for Alliance and Horde:

PROFESSIONS:
* Added “Inscription Quest Line” guide.
* Added “Inscription 700-800″ guide.

This update is available to all Zygor Elite members or customers who purchase the standalone Legion upgrades for the Gold and Auctions guide or Professions and Achievements guide.

A new Zygor Guides release (Version 14816) is available that includes some updates for Patch 7.1 now available in the US. This should make the addon show as up to date, although folks in the EU may see an out of date message until they get the patch tomorrow. Additionally, Blizzard has changed the addon api so that we are no longer able to display the waypoint arrow inside of dungeons, raids, and other instances.

Addons and Macros

• Addons can no longer access the positions for player, party, and raid members in instances.

We believe this is a reaction to the addon “DeadlyBossMods”, but whatever the reason there’s no way to workaround this unless Blizzard re-enables the functionality. In the meantime, we are looking to replace the waypoint directions in the Dungeon guides with descriptive text directions for navigating to bosses and quest objectives.

Also, we’re working on another update that will add in the new Suramar storyline quests and the Karazhan dungeon guide.

* Added Wildfowl Egg, Big Gamy Ribs, Highmountain Salmonm and Black Barracuda to Gold Guide Farming.

The 2016 version of the Hallow’s End event is now underway and our guides have been fully updated (Version: 6.0.14764) to reflect the new changes to the quests and achievements. Elite Members can download this update at no additional cost using the Zygor Guides Client. Members who own the previous standalone version of the Dailies and Events guide also receive the update.
