Just in time for Battle for Azeroth we have created a brand new Zygor Guides Client to manage your guide downloads and updates. This new client features a new design and works natively on both Windows and Mac so you no longer need a separate Java download to use it.

You can download the client now from the Members Area. We’re currently releasing this client in a “beta” stage which means it may be missing some features and you may encounter some issues. If you’d rather not deal with any of that right now the standard Java client will remain available for download as well.

Please report any issues or feedback you have on the new client on the forum or over on our discord server.

Note: If the Members Area looks jumbled it could be a caching issue. Try pressing Ctrl+F5 to clear the cache for the page and see if that fixes things.

The wait is over. Zygor’s Guides for Battle for Azeroth along with Zygor Guide Viewer 7 is now available for download! You can access The Battle for Azeroth with a Zygor Elite subscription (sign up here). The new Guide Viewer is available to all members, regardless of subscription status.

Chapter 1 of the War of the Thorns event is now live and we have sent out an update (6.2.18392) that adds in the Burning of Teldrassil event guide. This can be found in the Events section under Battle for Azeroth (110-120) \ Burning of Teldrassil or linked in the Home section of the guide menu.

Patch 8.0 is now live on US servers and we’re rolling out a update to both the addon and the guides. The update to the Guide Viewer adds in support and comparability with Patch 8.0. If you are not in the US and will be getting the Patch 8.0 update at a later time you will want to make sure your client is set to EU so you don’t get the update early causing your guides to break.

This is one last reminder that with tomorrows pre-patch that will bring the game up to version 8.0 the Zygor Guide Viewer addon will need to be updated to be compatible with this version. However, because the pre-patch will be hitting regions at different times you will want to make sure your Zygor Guides Client settings have the proper region selected so that you receive the update at the correct time to maintain working guides.

If you’re in a region other than US or EU and will be receiving the update at an even different time you may want to disable auto updates entirely and manually update your guides when your server receives the patch.

The US patch will start rolling out during Blizzards maintenance period tomorrow.
