I'm curious. I'm wondering just how hard it can be to fix the talents guide(s). From what I've read, people have been reporting problems with it -- the Talent Advisor and the Pet Advisor-- since October of (2010), and the replies from Zygor have always been basically just like yours (above).

How much coding difference is there between the Hunter's "Bear" talents (since it works) and the Hunter's "Wolf" talents (which doesn't work)? And, why can't the guide "remember" our accepted choices between sessions?

Is the Zygor team spending all its time working on other new products for sale, polls, etc. instead of completing the core Zygor Leveling Guide?

Maybe I've asked too many questions in this one post. Sorry.

I'm merely curious and frustrated, because it seems that it's taking (what appears to me) an inordinate amount of time. I'm no expert, so please tell me why it can't be fixed?

Along with the many posts I referenced to about hunter pet talent fixes there are also response from Zygor and Zygor Support stating it is being worked on. I dont presume to determine the effort being put into a guide, or the work being done on fixing bugs and/or new guide content. Since all we have to go off of is the responses given, that is all that can be referred to in this response for information.

I read the notice about the pet talents being fixed, so I installed the latest version. It's now a day later, and I noticed a slight glitch (with the Wolf selection).

When I click the talent advisor for Wolf, it doesn't work UNLESS I first click on Bear, then Wolf! And, of course my Wolf is standing right by my side.

It works only after doing it the way I mentioned above. Not a big deal, but something is still wrong. I'm sure they'll fix it eventually.

Very smooth sailing 40-47 in the Eastern Kingdoms, only a couple of hitches.

Eastern Plaguelands (40-45)

Step 93
Small thing - "... red metal canistoer" typo.

Step 113
Guide pointed me towards 50,20, a point way outside Light's Chapel for talking to Tarenar Sunstrike in order to get "Argent Call: Northdale" but he was right there, inside the chapel, at 75.8,52.4, and I could get the quest from him there. Could be because he died while we were out questing (my fault for attracting the attentions of a lv45 elite!). Either way the guide didn't point me to the right spot in this context.

Badlands (45-47)

Step 1
Maybe not so much a bug as a practical issue. This really needs an explanation in it about how to reach the Badlands and the obscurely placed NPC (Flofizzle). Only through using Carbonite was I able to figure out a route - for some reason I've never leveled here so I ended up going through the zone (seemingly backwards from the Loch Modan end) and jumping off a cliff. Maybe not the most elegant solution! I assume there must be some proper way of getting to the dock there where all the goblins are? If so it should probably be a compulsory step in this section of the guide.

It is a +1 for Zygor's in one sense though... I never would have guessed in a million years where to start those quests from!

The Badlands problem occurs if you skipped to that section. There's normally a quest that takes you automatically there.
These traveling problems can occur every time you skip to the next guide section and the Zygor team are aware of this. But a solution is pretty difficult to implement. If you include manual travel steps at the beginning of a guide this would confuse people strictly following the guide.

You most likely have only the trial guide installed. Make sure the settings in the updater are correct and use the repair button before installing.

I'M HAVING A PROBLEM WITH THE UPDATER. I NEED TO CHANGE THE GUIDE FROM A TRAIL TO FULL, BUT I CANT BECAUSE EVERY TIME I TRY TO OPEN UP THE UPDATER IT CLOSES BEFORE I GET TO THE SETTINGS OR REPAIR. AND I CANT FIND THE PROGRAM ANYWHERE IN MY COMPUTER TO DELETE IT.. HELP?

Did you buy the Bundle Pack? If you only bought the Horde Guide then you need to buy the Alliance Guides.

Look above at my guide list see how they have Cataclysm next to them? That's how you tell if you have Cataclysm.

If you didn't buy the guide between Oct. 7th 2010 and Dec. 7th 2010 then you will have to pay the upgrade fee to get the Cataclysm content like the 80-85 questing Goblin and Worgen Starting Areas.

The only guide showing up as active on your account is the Horde 1-80 guide. If you have purchase other guides or upgrades and they are not showing up on your account please forward the clickbank sales receipts to support @ zygorguides.com with an explanation of you situation. Thank you.
